Such a colorful and yet rustic slice of watermelon!  It is so well done, with time spent even on the seeds.  It is made from a large tree branch as the rind of the watermelon shows and then cut smoothly for the painting on the inside of the fruit.  There are a couple of slight nicks on the top of the fruit.  It measures: 10 1/2″ in length; 5 1/2″ high; and 2″ wide.  There is a “character” crack going to the inner portion of the melon, which looks to be made on purpose.  It is made to sit very well on a cabinet.
