A lovely antique folk art inlaid box with great design.  A center star on the top sets off this box and then it just continues to be a strong statement piece.  The plan, I believe, was to have it lock however it did not get that far but there is a sweet little keyhole for a planned key.  The box measures:  4 1/2″ in height, 7″ in width and 11″ in length.  The only flaw is where the attempted lock was to go and that is on the inside of the box.  It has a blue velvet lining and the top inside has multi color fabric.
