I began my love of folk art when I was about 15 years old and my father, who was a born and bred Tennessean, told me about the “old men” sitting under the trees in the town square “whittlin’”. I was fascinated that someone could use a pocket knife and a piece of wood and make clever little animals. The interest continue to grow and I would look for little carved critters, and now I have expanded my interest to “farm and ranch” made items. Using whatever is available to make a “needed” or a “whimsical” piece of art or a utilitarian item. I am happy to share my collection with my customers online and I hope you find something that will muse you or make you smile.
